Overview
Deliverables Often, integral to improving workflow is designing and developing system interfaces. Huron has significant experience in identifying workflow processes that can benefit from interfacing systems, (e.g. producing and working hard copy reports; entering repetitive/duplicate data; working a record too soon or too late; accessing multiple applications to find and move data). In addition, Huron will work with an organization in specifying the capabilities of an interface required for workflow improvement and cost savings. Such capabilities include: constructing unique information records; filtering messages; translating and expanding field data; queing and releasing information; logging interface and process events, and reporting interface and record status. Huron has found these capabilities assist in the design and development process at both the conceptual (user requirements) and physical (database schema) levels.
